Support offered:

Language & Communication: This might include visual supports, social stories, intensive interaction, advice on augmented communication.

Learning & Teaching in the home: Children with ASN (Additional support Needs)/ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) are always learning and this learning can be supported at home as much as it is in school. I can offer to create individual learning plans can help support this in many different areas in the home.

ASN/ASD awareness: Understanding your child's diagnosis. Support can be offered to your child, your family, siblings and extended family.

Self Help Skills: Support for your child to achieve as much independence as they can.

Behaviour management: Many children with ASN/ASD exhibit challenging behaviour. An individual behaviour plan can help reduce negative behaviours and help support your child to cope with the challenges they face every day.

Workshop training:: In addition to personalised support I also offer workshops which can be tailored to the needs of the group.

The above areas are just examples of support that can be offered. If as a family you are looking for other areas of support this can be discussed as part of the initial assessment meeting.
